Thank you for your Loyalty and Support

We wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our valued customer. Your unwavering support of our Sandalwood products is truly inspiring, and we are immensely grateful for your loyalty.  You not only strengthen our community but also contribute to the growth of Australian businesses. It's customers like you who make a significant impact, and we want you to know how much we appreciate your commitment and ongoing support over the years.

We also want to express our gratitude for the incredible individuals and organisations with whom we collaborated and supported in 2023. This includes Albany Golf Club, Sonics Basketball & Sporting Club Inc, Albany Chamber of Commerce, Albany Hospice, Women’s Leadership Forum, Albany State Emergency Service, Albany City Dance Club, Holistic Wellness expo, Royal flying doctors Kununurra and the Vintage & Classic Motorcycle Hillclimb event.  Undoubtedly, numerous individuals and groups in Kununurra and in the Great Southern regions are making noteworthy contributions to promote positive change within our community.

As a token of our gratitude, we are constantly striving to enhance our products and services, ensuring that your experience with our Sandalwood inspired offerings remains exceptional. 2023 has been a year of change, as sustainability is bought to the forefront of our decision making.  First step was to remove all unnecessary plastic from our packaging. This saw our giftset range receive a complete overhaul into plastic free packaging that contains 40% post-consumer waste. This has achieved an 8% reduction in plastic consumed by our business.

Further Increasing the use of post-consumer waste in our packaging has resulted in our 100g and 200g jar range now made from 100% recycled plastic that is fully curbside recyclable.  This change will transition throughout our range reducing the need for virgin plastic in our packaging.

We have discovered that black plastic is considered a problematic plastic and ends up in landfill even after recycling so we are transitioning all of our black plastic packaging to white or clear alternatives that can be recycled in your curbside collection, ultimately reducing what ends up in landfill.

Single use packaging has been transitioning to refillable options, reducing the amount of packaging required to begin with. If we can completely remove the need for plastic in our packaging but still provide a premium product, then this is a win for all. It is a journey we are navigating our way through to ensure we are being as sustainable as possible without compromising our product.

Your loyalty is the bedrock of our success, and we are honored to have you as a part of our community. Once again, thank you for choosing to support us. We look forward to continuing to provide you with quality products that showcase the best of what our country has to offer.

Don't Ever Leave!

By: on 29 December 2023
I discovered The Sandalwood Factory in Kununurra eight years ago, and have been a loyal customer ever since. I use many skin care products, candles and oils in my everday life, I love to try new things, and I always shop at TSF first for gifts. The range of beautiful products increases yearly and never compromises on quality. I love the committment to the environment, and the respect for culture. I greatly value that I am buying products that are sourced and made in my own country, Australia. I live near Melbourne, and I'm always impressed at how quickly my parcels arrive, well packaged with recyclable materials. Don't go anywhere, and don't sell out!
